STEPS TO APPLY
Submit the following materials to the Office of Undergraduate Admission:
- A completed electronic application for admission to Southern Polytechnic.
- The non-refundable application fee is $30 for an electronic application.
- Request official high school transcript or an official college transcript to be sent; if not a high school graduate, request an official copy of GED scores. The cost of auditing a course is the same as credit courses.
- All students applying for in-state tuition must verify lawful presence in the United States.
If you have submitted an application to SPSU within the last year, you may not need to apply again. Please use the Entrance Term Update Form to update your existing application. You will be notified by email if you need to complete a new application. Admission deadline dates apply.
Applicants who are interested in enrolling in courses but do not wish to receive college
grades or credit.
*An audit student will receive grades of a 'V' and will not receive transferable credits. In order to become a regular student, auditors must meet regular admission requirements. An audit student may not change to regular student status after beginning a course as an auditor. The audit grade 'V' may never be used as a basis for gaining credit in any course.
