Southern Polytechnic State University welcomes students who have pursued accelerated
academic course work while in high school or through recognized national standardized
programs. Such programs include College Board's Advanced Placement (AP), International
Baccalaureate (IB), and College Level Examination Program (CLEP).
Advanced placement
Students may receive college credit for certain courses based on scores of the Advanced
Placement (AP) Exam as follows:

Official results must be sent directly from the Admissions Testing Board of the College Board to SPSU for credit to be awarded.
CLEP exam
Students may receive college credit for certain courses based on scores on the College
Level Examination Program offered by the College Entrance Examination Board. The criteria
