To be eligible for a minor in history, a student must complete eighteen (18) semester hours as specified below with a grade of C or better.
Three hours:
HIST 1111 Survey of World Civilization to 1500 OR
HIST 1112 Survey of World Civilization since 1500 (3)
may not choose the same course used to satisfy Core Area E-2
Six hours:
HIST 2111 US History to 1877 (3) AND
HIST 2112 US History since 1877 (3)
if one of these courses is used to satisfy Core Area E-1; any three hours of HIST
credit may be substituted
Nine hours:
Any three 3000- or 4000-level history courses (9)
