June 2013KLAUS FAMILY FOUNDATION CHALLENGE GRANT
CSE has received a challenge grant from the Klaus Family Foundation. The Klaus Family Foundation will match every gift that CSE receives for its endowment before July 2014 up to a maximum of $100,000. The monies raised will be used to set up endowed scholarships for our students. I am of course extremely grateful to Chris Klaus, member of the CSE Dean’s Advisory Council, for making all this possible.
If you want to respond to this challenge by making a donation to the CSE Foundation, please go to /giving/index.htm. When making your gift, make sure to mention that you want your gift to go to CSE.
SPRING 2013 DEAN’S AND MERIT LISTS
One of the ways in which CSE celebrates student success is through the publication of the Dean’s and Merit Lists. The Dean’s List contains the names of those undergraduate students who earned 12 or more credit hours for the semester with a grade point average of 3.50 or better (out of 4.00) and who are not subject to any disciplinary action. The Merit List contains the names of the undergraduate students who earned 9 or more credit hours for the semester with a grade point average of 3.50 or better (out of 4.00) and who are not subject to any disciplinary action. You can find the lists for Spring 2013 at/schoolcse/csecurrentstudents/deanlist.htm.
Congratulations are of course due to all students who made it to either the Dean’s or the Merit List.
