Rec Sports Facilities

The Recreation and Wellness Center, commonly known as "The Rec" is the epicenter for SPSU's Campus Recreation. The Rec houses two racquetball courts, locker rooms with showers, a full size 25 yard lap swimming pool and an outdoor sunbathing deck. The Rec is home to the Departments of Intramurals, Health Promotion and Student Health Services.

A state-of-the-art weight room that includes free weights, Cybex selectorized, and cardiovascular equipment.

Weight Room

The facility boasts a large multipurpose gym that holds two basketball courts, two volleyball courts, four badminton courts, and a perimeter jogging/walking area.

Rec Center Gym

The Fitness Studio boasts Schwinn ® Group Cycle Bikes, free weights, BOSU® Balls, Steps and Yoga and Pilates mat equipment. Group Fitness Classes are held in the Studio.
