It is recommended that students fulfill this part of the Area D requirement by taking Calculus-based Physics, because PHYS 2211 and PHYS 2212 are required courses for the math major.

Calculus-Based Physics Requirement ( 8 hours)  

Physics 2211K and 2212K.   Students are urged to satisfy this requirement in Area D of the core. If this is not done, then Guided Electives must be used.


Guided Electives (20 hours)

May not include Math 2240 or mathematics courses numbered less than 2000.
