Title IX

Notice of Non-Discrimination under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, 20 U.S.C. 1681 et seq.

Title IX prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs or activities.  Prohibited sex discrimination covers sexual harassment, including sexual violence.  Southern Polytechnic State University does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age, veteran's status, or sexual orientation in its programs and activities.
