Approved Developers

Teaching Academy for Distance Learning (TADL): 

A TADL designation means that, prior to course development, participants have completed the Teaching Academy for Distance Learning. Doing so, qualifies graduates for designing, developing, and delivering an online courses.

Opt-Out: 

An opt-out designation means that an individual developed and delivered an online course that passed the standards set by SPSU. This course has been reviewed and that individual has been granted the same qualifications as a TADL graduate.

Mentorship:

A mentorship designation means that, prior to course development, an individual co-designed, developed, and delivered an online course side-by-side with a mentoring TADL graduate. This course met standards when reviewed and allowed the individual to learn online pedagogical and technology competencies. This individual has been granted the same qualifications as a TADL graduate.

Permanent Online Teaching Certification:

Current SPSU faculty who have successfully completed TADL and/or the Online Course Facilitation Workshop will have permanent online teaching certification in the New Kennesaw State University. No additional certification is necessary.
