New Online Certificate in Technical Communication
The English, Technical Communication, and Media Arts Department offers a 15-hour online certificate in technical communication. The certificate complements the BS in Technical Communication and the BA in English and Professional Communication already offered by the department.
The online certificate was designed principally for students who are pursuing a degree in English or in Communication or working professionals who want a value-added certificate in technical communication. The certificate consists of the following courses:
TCOM 2010 Technical Writing
TCOM 2030 Research in Technical Communication
TCOM 3045 Fundamentals of Information Design
TCOM 4030 Foundations of Graphics
TCOM 4035 Fundamentals of Website Design
