The Office of Advancement manages the functions of giving, alumni activities, development, and public relations. Our development officers adhere strictly to the Donor Bill of Rights, which can be viewed by clicking here.
Advancement personnel work closely with the SPSU Foundation Board of Trustees to increase private resources for the university and to manage those resources on behalf of the Foundation. Members of the Foundation Board represent business and civic organizations, and alumni of the University. These volunteer board members are public-minded citizens who devote their time to enhance the programs, services and influence of SPSU.
The Foundation serves as the primary link between the University and the community it serves. Organized in 1976 to assist the University in development, the Foundation provides a vehicle for securing funds for scholarships, faculty and student needs, academic and building programs and other priority needs of the University.
