Risk Management administers the University's self-insured and commercial programs. We determine the adequacy of coverage, assist departments with their insurance needs and facilitate the claims process. The mission of the department is to forecast, identify, assess and prevent University risk. We are tasked with protecting the University from liability and protecting University assets. The department also provides consultation to University departments about loss control and insurance issues including contract, projects and programs review.
