All Emergency Preparedness efforts on the campus of Southern Polytechnic State University are managed by the SPSU Police Department.
Emergencies or disasters can happen unexpectedly and often without warning. In most instances, when an emergency occurs at SPSU, our safety will depend on our existing levels of preparedness. After the campus emergency, our rate of recovery will be determined by the coordinated response from students, residents, faculty, and staff.
SPSU's response to an emergency on campus will be guided by the following fundamental priorities:
1. Life Safety
2. Secure and preserve infrastructure and facilities
3. Restoration of the academic program
