Camps at SPSU

Located in Marietta, Georgia, Southern Polytechnic State University is close to the city of Atlanta yet far enough away to ensure a quiet, hospitable campus with an ample amount of parking. From academic to athletic, SPSU host a wide range of unique camps. SPSU is also home to versatile space that can be transformed into the perfect place to host your own camp.

Our camps offer high quality, engaging and fun learning experiences for children. These camps have a core component of cultivating a safe learning environment for children, and this is encouraged through the staff-camper mentoring relationships.These camps are designed and facilitated by SPSU student, staff and affiliates, so the learning permeates the entirety of the program. Through SPSU Campus Services, your child will get to know the Camp Staff, and will learn a lot about SPSU and the many possibilities that exist here.

Aerospace

The mission of the Aerospace Engineering Camp is to provide practical hands on knowledge to future engineers. Student will get the chance to experience and learn theory through exciting real world applications.

Athletic

Southern Polytechnic State University is home to many talented athletic teams. Men's and women's basketball, baseball, and soccer teams host both team and individual camps. To register click here.

Civil Engineering

The Civil Engineering Camp provides an excellent opportunity for students to investigate engineering as a potential major and career. Campers also get the opportunity to compete in the 5th annual Balsa Bridge Competition. The camp workshop is designed to introduce students to engineering concepts, hands-on laboratory experiences, and hands-on building projects.

With so many flexible options available, SPSU makes the perfect venue for hosting your next camp. Lodging is available during summer months and attendees are welcome to dine at Stingers all you can eat restaurant. Staff will work closely with you to ensure that your camp runs smoothly and is successful.
